Music has always been a vital part of John Rominger's life, starting with piano lessons as a child. When the folk and rock movement of the 60s began, he bought a guitar and has spent thousands of hours playing and learning the wonders of this instrument.
Over the years John has played keyboard, guitar, and sung vocals both as a solo performer and with various groups. He enjoys (nearly) all types of music, but is currently partial to classic rock, country, bluegrass, and jazz.
A mathematician and physicist by training, John's professional life was spent in the San Francisco bay area as an engineer and technical manager. However, he has never lost his love for the country and family roots in the farming business. John has two musically talented grownup children and is now retired. He lives in an oak grove with his very loving and supportive wife Carol and their golden doodle Newton in southern Colusa County.
